- Frequently Asked Questions
What is the typical length of first visits?
You can expect to be at
the center from 60 to 90
minutes on your first visit.
You will undergo a
comprehensive evaluation so
that an appropriate
treatment plan can be
established. Please arrive
at least 15 minutes before
your appointment to discuss
insurance and billing
procedures with our front
office personnel.
- What is the typical
length of regular
appointments?
The duration
of each treatment session
usually lasts between 30 to
45 minutes, depending on the
scope of the injury.
- How do I make new appointments?
Appointments are made with
the front office staff. You
should check in and out with
them at each visit.
- What should I do if I am unable to make my appointment?
We request that all
cancellations be made at
least 24 hours in advance of
an appointment. A
cancellation fee may be
charged for cancellations
with less than 24-hour
notice.
- How much do treatments cost?
Fees will vary depending on
your diagnosis and the
extent of your treatment.
There will be an initial
physical therapy evaluation
fee, as well as fees for
each of your treatments. For
your convenience, we
generally bill commercial
insurance carriers for you,
and ask that you pay your
co-pay portion at the center
on the day of treatment.
Will my insurance cover the costs of my treatment?
Our front office staff will
have information about your
insurance coverage when you
arrive at the center.
Although insurance policies
vary, typically 80 percent
of our services are covered
by commercial insurance
after your deductible is
met.
- What will happen when I am discharged?
Upon discharge, you will be
adequately prepared to leave
physical therapy, and your
home exercise program will
be updated accordingly. You
may contact your physical
therapist anytime with
questions or concerns.
